When I was 10 I was gifted my very first camera-- a small digital Canon point-and-shoot. I walked around my house or the yard, pointing it casually at ladybugs, my cats, flowers, trees, and whatever was in front of me.  I became more interested in portraits. Sometimes I would turn my camera around and point it at myself, and eventually I discovered the self timer button, and began to take self portraits by propping my camera on a surface and then going to pose as my own model. When I was 13 I was given a Nikon D80. My love of photography was expanding, and my self portraits became more advanced. I took portraits of friends, and started taking jobs informally with friends who needed senior portraits for school, and began bulding a business. 

 

 My repertoire now includes portraits of any kind, fashion, product advertisement, weddings, sports, events, and anything else the customer requests. I specialize in outdoor portraits, which focus on causing my subject to appear magical among beautiful surroundings.   

 

When working with clients I intend to make subjects feel as relaxed, comfortable, and confident as possible in order to create high quality images together. I direct and encourage my models and clients while we work.
